  • scattervolume and vraymaterial with sss enabled ignore light exclusions.

as per title... i have an object which is excluded from illumination by a bunch of lights.... standard vraymtl or sss2 work fine... scattervolume or vraymtl with black diffuse and sss enabled, and the excluded lights illuminate the object.

on a related note, objects with scattervolume on and a material ID set on the scattervolume, dont show up in multimatte either.

Thanks for the report. Both issues are already logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-8941 and VMAX-3311 respectively). I'll bump their priority.

Is there a public database of known bugs? Sure would be nice to be able to search it.

Internal trackers don’t help the users much (other than the fact that chaos will eventually fix them).

The database is private. We post the id so that we can link the thread/s to the issues.

I understand. Wishing for a feature enhancement to have a public database of known issues
