  • MAX Autostart

If it isn't one thing, it is another. I had to create a new local admin account on my Windows 11 PC. Everything that was causing me headaches has seemed to have gone away, but now, I can't kill MAX. I can reboot, and MAX is running in the task manager. I can kill it in task manager, and it comes right back. There isn't a MAX running, but it shows in the task manager. When I launch MAX, I then have two instances in task manager. What goes? There is nothing in startup to cause it.... I am confused!

If a VraySpawner is running, either as an application or as a service, it will start a version of Max along with it. It runs in dummy mode, so you do not have the interface for that version.

Yes, I figured that out. I don't even use VraySpawner, but somehow it got installed and started as a service.
