  • VrayDistanceTex objects dialog box is broken on nested VrayDistanceTex maps

I have a typical material I use that is set up with nested VrayDistanceTex maps. For example, I'll have a 2nd VrayDistanceTex map in the "Far" slot of a VrayDistanceTex map. When set up this way though the Objects selection list is SHARED between BOTH of the maps meaning I can't have separate lists for each map. Further, the second map's object selection doesn't seem to really work as you can't add or remove any objects from this list (but it works fine on the first map's),

This is on 6.10.02 and is definitely different than it used to be (I've used it for years) but I'm not sure exactly when this error showed up (I've only been on 6 for a short while but I think it was working on vray 6).

Easily reproduceable on a brand new scene - make a new material with the nested maps and try to select objects.

    Hello,
This seems to be happening with the Compact ME and has been logged as VMAX-13063. We will update here once it's fixed, meanwhile with the Slate ME it's behaving as expected.
Thank you for the report and sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you! The workaround is fine for now.
