  • Exclusion of light from another light

    Hi all,
I am trying to render an interior with Vray Dome light as the main light source and a Vray Plane light from the window for some shadows to light up a corner.
Attaching the screenshot and then render below.
If we see carefully the i can see the shadow of the plane light on the blind that is casted by the dome light i think and i don't know a way to avoid it.
Is it also possible to do so like excluding one light from another. If so then please let me know.
    Thanks in advance.

HI, thanks for posting. I am not entirely sure what to look at. Is it this shadow?

This can occur in case you have not turned on your VRayLight's "invisible" option.

      Hi Mate,
It was my bad, I checked the settings once again after reopening 3dsmax and was able to get rid of this issue.
Thanks for the help and also you can delete this post if possible because unnecessarily it will clutter the post list.
      Thanks again.

No worries. What was the cause after all? You did reset the render settings and this fixed it?

I just deleted the plane light and created it again and checked the invisible option and it worked. No idea what bug caused it not to work the first time. But now all well and working like a charm. Thanks again for the help Mate.
