  • Latest Offical Vray - Bitmap Issues - Standard Bitmap not VrayBitmap

    With the latest offical release of Vray I am having an issue where my bitmaps are no longer showing up. Just literally leaving it a blank with no response as if the map isn't even there. If I clear it and reapply the bitmap it works. Issue is I am using Evermotion building models which have about 20+ maps per building.
    Anyway the team can look into a fix for this?

    PS, when I run the vray bitmap converter and change all maps to vraybitmap, it does fix it. So that did work. But I would still like to be able to use the old traditional bitmap. Again, the old traditional bitmap does work if I manually redo it, but it leaves old scene files now not functional which forces me to either redo manually or convert whole scene to vraybitmap.

    It looks to me the issue is with the multisub material.
    Shaders applied directly display just fine, but any map (vraybitmap included) will come out black if sitting inside a multisub.
    In my case, also vrayBitmaps, and max bitmaps under Arnold.

    This is under max 2023 and 2024.

    I'd put this down to AD.
