  • vray GPU depth of field quality issue

Hello, I use Vray GPU 6, when I use depth of field, the bokeh quality is very low. I read different parts of the documentation and even searched Google, but I didn't see anything about increasing the quality depth of field! Thanks in advance for the advice

Which parameters increase the quality of DOF? (Vray GPU 6)

Hey ali_baba and welcome to the forums

Are you talking about noise free bokeh?
Could you please share a screenshot of what you have at the moment? it will be helpful

You will need very high Samples Limit to get noise-free bokeh, something like 10000 or 50000

        Thank you!

        Is this a denoised render?
Are you using a Bokeh map?
Could you please share your setup with me, or a simplified version?

Generally speaking you need very high sampling settings for Bokeh to be clean, try 20,000 Samples Limit for example and turn off the denoiser for now

That almost looks like bucket rendering where some buckets are missing the bokeh.

Increasing min subdivs or increasing bucket size usually helps in that case.
