  • bright line across image when using Bloom/Glare

I'm getting bright horizontal lines running across the image when I use Bloom/Glare. They're definitely not a proper part of the effect.
Anybody know how to avoid this problem? I'm using a VRayDomeCamera.

    Thanks

Edit: attached image with the gamma up a little to highlight a line.

If you turn off hardware acceleration in the VFB lens effects layer does that help?

      It's already off unfortunately.

Hard to say without a scene. Could you simplify yours and attach it here?

This isn't the exact data, but it's happening here too. Render once with region render on. No line. Then render a full frame. There's a line in the region render area.

Thanks for the provided scene. Turns out we already have this issue logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-2088 ), which states that noise/artifacts may occur on low-lit scenes. Sorry to say, there doesn't seem to be a workaround until the issue is fixed. Also, I noticed you're using V-Ray NEXT, and, just so you know, it is unlikely that the fix will be pushed so far back.

              That's a shame.
              Thanks for looking into it.
