3dsmax + Vray = crash

As of recently, I have a strange problem: when trying to open 3dsmax with Vray installed, 3dsmax crashes. Without Vray, everything works fine. I typically work in Max 2023 with Vray 6, most recent release, but have tried this with Max 2022 and Max 2024 and previous Vray releases. Consistently the same result: fine without, crashes with.

Windows 10 and Graphics Card Driver are up to date. And to my knowledge, no event occurred that triggered this behavior. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Do you have any other 3rd party plugins installed? Can you send the 3ds Max dump file to support?

I submitted the dump and log files to the support forum. I have Forest Pack 7.4.3 and Anima AXYZ 4.5.6 installed. One thing I notice is that on start up, the "ChaosScatter" plugin appears to take a long time to load.
