        This is likely normal: it's the modelling of the camera inner workings, and if it is so, it's also analogous to the real world counterparts.
        If you think it's not, please share a scene and some more info.

          It's mimicking the behavior of a lens focusing close, where there is more light falloff when the lens gets farther from the film plane.

              But the thread provides info on how to prevent this behavior if you wish, and explains why this behavior occurs, and how it is calculated. The docs are a little thin on details.
