  • VRayDisplacementMod rendering issue

    Hello,
I applied 4K displacement maps, but the rendered images were coarse. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I have attached the image of VRayDisplacementMod parameters and the rendered image of another area on the same UV for reference.

Try reducing the Edge length parameter in the VRayDisplacementMod or increasing tessellation in the original mesh.

      Thank you for your reply!
Setting the value of the Edge length parameter to 1.0 gave undesirable results.

Even if the mesh was sufficiently subdivided using the turbosmooth modifier, the result was still undesirable.

However, I checked the Smooth UVs checkbox and the result was much better, although the UV breaks were still noticeable.

Unchecking the Keep continuity checkbox eliminated the border and gave it an ideal appearance!
