    Try the latest recommended GPU driver - 536.40 and see if that makes any difference.

    EDIT: Typo.

      Hi, thank you for your reply, I clicked the link you provided and it brought me to the V-Ray GPU website, it shows the driver is 536.40, but not the version you mention here.
      Best regards,

            I think simply installing the older driver should work. Otherwise, you could use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to do a clean uninstall. Make sure you restart your PC afterward.

              I am also running into this issue, but the currently recommended driver (551.86) doesn't seem to be available from Nvidia.

              Any pointers on how to get over the error in situations like this?

              FWIW, I am running 560.94 on a RTX 3060....

                The latest recommended driver was posted by Muhammed here - 566.14. Try it out. Otherwise, we are aware that the page shows another driver; it will be fixed.

                  After installing 566.14, I now get the error:
                  "Error : [VUtils::OptiXDenoiserData::copyResult] -1: Denoised channel 11 has no buffer"

                  Any ideas greatly received!

                    How are you using the denoiser? In 3ds Max or via the vdenoise.exe? If the latter - make sure you use the same denoising engine with which you've generated the elements.

                      With IPR...

                      Restarting my pc after installing the driver seems to have fixed it.

                        Actually it looks like the cause was the VrayDenoiser render element mode being set to "Only generate render elements". Changing this "Show denoiser result channel" seems to have fixed it.

                          So, you get the error with the 566.14 driver, Nvidia denoiser, and Only generate Elements? Strange, since that option only controls the creation of the VRayDenoiser element. Does it happen in every scene or only in a particular one?

                            I don't have time to fully test this at the moment, but FWIW I've just changed renderer to scanline and then back to vray and "only generate elements" produces a new error:
                            [10:22:17.970] Error : [VUtils::OptiXDenoiserData::copyResult] -1: Denoised channel 3 has no buffer

                            Again, setting VrayDenoiser to either hide or show fixes it.
