  • Artifacts with Clouds in VraySun and day/night animation

    Hey guys,
we tried to do a small day-night-animation with VraySun and activated clouds.
However, there are two frames in the whole animation where a strange artifact can be observed. Those frames are near the start and near the end.
It seem it appears when the sun goes above/below the horizon. The frames before and after look fine.

Mind if you strip down the scene and attach (or send) it here so we can troubleshoot?

      Sure,
here it is. One of the frames in questions is #10.

Thanks for the report. The issue is reproducible in a simple scene. It seems that the Clouds are lit from below when the Sun is slightly below the horizon. I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-13768 ) for developer investigation. I'm not sure if there's a workaround except skipping those particular frames - maybe the frame animation curve could be adjusted for that.

No worries, we will find a solution. Maybe we skip thos frames entirely.
