  • IPR takes too much to restart

When an image has reached its limits on IPR, it takes too much time to start again, even when few objects in scene

Ok I leave a video of what I meant
I think that this happens when rendering in big resolutions, even if there are not many objects
I provide the scene in Max 2024, in the video the scene has materials, but I could reproduce it without them
Also the VFB stops working, maibe the file is corrupted
        Hope this helps

          Hello,

Some initial observations - once sampling is done the denoiser runs and it processes the whole image and also any render elements that you might have (you have multiple in your case). On my machine at least - this final denoising takes about 22 seconds. For some internal reasons - once that denoising starts it is not aborted till it finishes. So while the denoiser is running - no changes happen or even closing the VFB is blocked..

Overall - any specific reason to run IPR with the full resolution ?

          Best regards,

Whoooaw I totally forget to clean the render elements for testing, I actually did it but when mergin the file, thats why I thought I couldt reproduce it. I guess I was abusing the IPR
Well this is my jobs workflow, we need to render fast in big resolutions and sometimes changes in the flow.
Thank u so much for this observation, Ill take notice in my personal workflow.
