vray displacement overlapping

Hi

I do have sand and water, both have vray displacement applied. At the connection edge I am getting this line. Changing vray sun bias to 0 helps to reduce the black like thickness but it is still there.

Actually it is not displacement, the line is visible without it. Scene attached, 3ds max 2019, vray 6 up2.

Setting Secondary Ray bias in Render Setup to 0 might help.

Usually, this issue is fixed with the shadow bias as you've already found out. Another way is to play around with the image filters.

Thank you, secondary ray bias was to blame in this situation.
