  • Glass behind glass renders black

Hello! I have a glass wall behind a window. When using only the windows, glass renders fine. When only the wall, fine also. However, when both are visible, the glass wall renders black through the windows. Any ideas how to fix the issue? I did increase the "override depth (in "global switches panel) from 5 to 50 and it seems to fix the issue. But how to fix it without affecting my whole scene's material? I tried Increasing "max depth" in the glass material settings, but it doesn't work.

Hi, thanks for posting. Increasing Max depth should work. Are you sure you are using the same material for both refractive objects? Could you share a screen grab of you issue? Could you share a scene that reproduces the issue?
