  • vray aerial perspective causes issues with lens effects

I just noticed that when using aerial perspective in a scene, I get errors with lens effects. Bright red/blue/magenta pixels appear on reflective surfaces and get large lens flares.
I initially thought that the metal material was the culprit but noticed that once I switch off the aerial perspective the error goes away.

Hi, thanks for posting. This issue does not reproduce in a simple scene. We need more details about your setup or a test scene if possible. If you have one that you can share please attach it here or use the contact form.

Thanks for the reply Vladimir. I've uploaded a striped down version of the scene using the contact form. Ticket number: 271319

LE: As you can see there is a vray plane in the scene with a water material. If I close this plane the problem goes away also as far as I can see. So maybe this issue is a combination of multiple factors.
