  • Normal map wont work

    Hi
I created a TIF normal maps with substance but it wont work on Vray.
I dont know why, it looks ok but gives completely weird bumps...are there special settings for generating normal map on painter?
Here's the map if anyone has any idea to help...
    Cheers.

PS : I tried with some other normal map (downloaded from texture.com for example) and they work work fine.
And my normal map (here enclosed) works also fine with Redshift. It just doesnt work with Vray...

Unless I'm missing something, it looks ok on my machine?

re you using VrayBitmap connected to a VrayNormalMap node? Might be worth sharing your results. Doesn't Substance Painter use a different method to display Normal Maps?

Try activating the VRayNormalMap's "Swap red and green". Check the attached scene for reference. If that's not it, please include a reference image for the desired result.

I re-did the scene from scratch and now it works, sorry for that, I must have done something wrong.
        Thanks for the answer.
