  • V-Ray Missing Dlls

We are using Max 6 as a scanline renderer. Some of the models we have had produced have been rendered in V-Ray. There is some vestige of V-Ray still in the models. We need to clear out all instances of V-Ray in our Max file in order to render to an outside RenderFarm, ResPower. This is becuase we are also using RPC's. Can anybody help here. We are rendering the files on site that we can not send to the Render farm but it is too much for the machines we have even though they are dual Xeon's w/4 Gigs of ram. I should have written this before because we have very little time.

All the best to all you V-bee's, can't wait to get into the software with a bullet.

well without looking at the scene itself, I can say that vray's cross references couldbe:
1 - some shaders which are left off in your scene. You can track them down in material browser for scene.
    2 - vray proxies
3 - vray textures (vrayMap as example)
4 - vray plane, vray fur
5 - some object can have vray displacement mod on it.

If there is still problems you may try merging your model into a clean scene, that could clear some hidden tracks.
    Thats all I can say.

I'll add V-Ray shadows and lights to that list.

      Best regards,
