Takes sometimes minutes to get the Slate Material Edior ready (vray "render queue")

When I open the Slate Material Editor in a scene without any Material, I can see the "Render queue" of icony counting slowly down. (each material a few seconds)

What could be the reason?

If that happens in a big scene during another operation, the scene can crash from that.

okay something is weird with vray
- should I try to install again? or what's the reason fro the empty window?

Anyone there? Uninstalled everything including 3dsmax and reinstalled, but still the vray Tab is empty.

Are there caches to delete?

Hello,

Those are empty when V-Ray can't obtain license UI license. Is your license server set up and running ?

If you've installed V-Ray in an arbitrary location, there is an extra step for the Viewport IPR to appear. Check the last entry here.
