What is the current recommendation from Chaos regarding displaying accurate colours in VFB for users using ICC display profiles and OCIO at the same time?

There is an ICC layer from the CC layers dropdown in VFB. Would this do the job?

no. it needs to work like ICC Display Correction - so just for viewing (not saved to output) and adjusting pixels in their "ready for screen" state (so after or within OCIO Display Correction).
