  • lens effects alpha problem

I don't know in which version it has changed but now the lens effects give a problem with the alpha. I have placed an image in the background and it looks like this cut

    Maybe a similar problem here.

It is this problem here: https://forums.chaos.com/forum/v-ray...lare-and-bloom

The lens effects do not generate an alpha. If you wish to add them later in post, you have to save them into a seperate channel, and than add them over your content.

I should be able to place the lens effects layer on top of the background

You can put the background layer in the Composite stack and it should fix the problem.

You could always "Send to scene" when you're ready with your light mixing, rer-ender and switch to composite

It is the best alternative while it is being fixed, although I am surprised that since version 3.60.03 I have had this problem and it has not been solved.
