when using 16 bit displacement images to avoid the normal 8bit artefacts, using 2d displacement (landscape) works as expected. Using the same map with 3d displacement looks awfull, full of jagged stairs as a 8 bit map would create.
I prefer 2d disp. so it normally doesn't bother me, but for my actual project 3d is a lot faster, so I would like to use it.
When will this problem be fixed ????
