  • VRayPhysicalCamera resolution overwrite during IPR, original resolution is lost.

In a scene with VRayPhysicalCamera “Resolution Override” enabled or disabled cameras, if I switch to the “Override Enabled” camera and then switch to the “Override Disabled” camera during IPR, the originally set Output Size in 3dsMax is lost.

If the user sets the “resolution override” for all PhysicalCamera, there is no problem, but this is not the behavior the user expects.
Also, Production rendering is not a problem because the 3dsMax Output Size is not changed.

Please fix the different behavior between Production and IPR.

    Confirmed with V-Ray 7 and V-Ray 6.2

Thanks for the report. It seems to also happen without rendering. Logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-14692). It does work correctly, when setting the resolution through the V-Ray settings (Render Setup > V-Ray > Frame Buffer) or as you mentioned setting it on every camera.

That's one way to do it.
Thank you for letting me know about the bug tracker. I hope it will be fixed in the future.
