Chaos Scatter fails to initialize and not loading

I keep getting this error with the Chaos Scatter plugin for 3ds max.


System/Version info:
- 3dsmax 2024
- Vray6 and Vray7
- Windows 10
- Vray6 and Vray7 both work as expected

Things I have tried so far per Chaos support page suggestions and all give me the same error:
- Re-installed Vray
- Uninstalled Chaos Scatter then reinstalled Vray7
- On a different machine -- installed 3ds max 2024 fresh, installed vray7

Any help would be appreciated.

Try resetting 3ds max to its defaults and see if that makes a difference.
