  • Rendering 1000s of 3ds max scenes via V-Ray GPU Standalone

    Hi there,

We want to render thousands of 3ds max scenes on Linux RTX nodes.

How stable V-Ray GPU Standalone on Linux vs Windows?

Any existing issues? Any driver related problems? Any rendering artifacts?

    Best wishes,
    Petr

    Hi Petr,
V-Ray GPU works on Linux without any specific limitations. Just make sure you're using compatible hardware and a supported GPU driver to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Keep in mind that updating GPU drivers on Linux can sometimes be a bit more complex compared to other operating systems, so we strongly recommend using a recent version of the GPU driver.
If you encounter any problems, feel free to reach out to us - we'll be happy to investigate further and assist you.
