Vray Volume grid and distributed rendering

Hi,
I have a scene with a few Vray volume grids.
The source vdb files are located on a mapped network drive, so they are accessible by the render server.

But when rendering using distributed rendering, the render server is not rendering the volume grids.

Any idea why it is not rendering the volume grids?

No issues on my end based on a simple scene. Are you certain the servers can access the mapped network (is the mapped letter the same)?

Hi Hermit, thanks for checking, yes network drive letters are the same.

Also no errors in the log

When I open the max file on the render node system, the clouds are rendering.

Mind if you strip down the scene (leave only the .vdbs) and send it to us so we can troubleshoot?

I was hoping I missed a checkbox or something but at the moment I need to get this render out the door so i'll render this on my workstation.
However, I will try to figure this out at a later stage and update if I get things working.

You can try turning on the "Transfer missing assets" option in the DR settings and see if that makes a difference.

Yes, tried that too, also turning off use cache.. Not many option left I suppose. I'll share a stipped down scene via pm

Thanks for the provided scene. The VolumeGrids are rendered correctly with DR on my end. Whenever you have the time, could you try storing them on a UNC path?
