I have this situation:
A road and a curb. used distance text + dirt map (composite) as mask for a blend material to create dirt in some places.
For the curb I used a concrete material and a soil material with the mask as distance from road and from sidewalk/paving.
But when I try to create the road material the same way, with asphalt and soil plugged onto a blend material and masking with distance tex, I can not use the curb as object for distance (because it is being used in a completely different material and is creating a dependency loop).
I will solve this by only using dirt map (does not give the same result however).
I still don't see the dependency loop, the curb should check its distance to the road with its map, and the road to the curb with a separate map.
