    I have been having an issue with the V-Ray Camera. The only way I can move the camera is by some point in the middle, between the camera and the target. I want to grab the camera and move it. Also, I can't orbit the camera at all.

    Sounds like your pivot center is set to selection center, not sure without screenshots but check if it's set correctly: https://help.autodesk.com/view/3DSMA...6-84380E12C8C3

      Changing the pivot center isn't working for me. I'm having the same issue, with all cameras. I figured it was a new FEATURE after upgrading to 2025 from 2018... thanks Autodesk

      edit: tried several cameras -- standard free camera I can click to select or drag to select, phyiscal camera (with targeted turned off) I can't click to select or drag to select unless its a large selection area (that I guess includes the invisible target?), vraycam I can click on but can't drag to select unless target is included.

        It works for me.
        Be careful to click on the edges of the camera and/or target symbol.
        If you click on the direction line (even inside the symbols), it selects both.
        Otherwise, you can select either the camera or the target using Scene Explorer.

          Did you turn on GPU hittest by any chance?

          nitrousgraphicsmanager.HardwareHitTestEnabled=true

          If so that's why, GPU hittest has a problem with selecting cameras, forestpack, railclone, forces, etc. Not with geometry or splines though.

              Yeah I've put it as a shortcut, as having it enabled greatly improves viewport performance for me, and if I need to select something like a camera in the viewport I quickly disable it. It's a bit stupid that they stopped developing the GPU hittesting as the performance is a lot better. Well at least on threadripper CPUs with a somewhat lower clockspeed, havent tried on CPUs with a higher one.
