  • Mix map environment problem

    G'day all!

    Can anybdy confirm a problem with mixmaps in either the environment override on the render tab or on a VRay material? I'm getting buckets of different colour / texture / spacetimecontinum etc.
    I'm using an irradience map in frame mode and I'm not using DR.

    I searched for 'mix maps' but it's a big forum out there!

      never mind, just tried it and yeah it doesnt work....looks like some error when mixing the two maps - produces broken chekered pattern.

        I would think that when dealing with an environment map, it would be best to "bake" any procedural effects anyways so that there is a consistency in place.

          Dynedain, this is a good idea. It's no real 'end of the world situation' I just used a different map.
