I'm looking out a window and looking at the background. I see the reflections inside the room int the glass.
At Alpha contribution of 1.0, of course, the material is completely white in alpha.
At 0 it is as if the window doesn't exist at all, but you can see the reflections for it (this doesn't help me at all in AfterEffects).
At -1, what I thought it was suppose to be, I get a complete blocking effect. I can't see anything behind the windows in the alpha, but I also can't see the reflections.
Any advice? I am still utterly confused as to how to use the alpha contribution to work how I think it should.
I don't understand why my reflections aren't seeming to affect the alpha at all.
-yes I have searched through many posts....I just didn't find any that helped me.
