  • Render queue and dr.

    Hi,
    I would like to use Dr to render throught the night some render but i don't want to wait render and launch every render... i want sleep at night, not wait render..is there a method to create a render queue using DR??
    Can i use backburner handle dr queue??

      I believe you can use Batch rendering in 3dsmax 8.

        In that case you could send a cmdjob off to backburner that would start a DR job via command line, trick would be knowing when the DR slaves were free to start a new job. Some sort of proccess loging could work I guess along with some callback scripts per job. :P

          have you tested that vlado? I don't think you can, since it works through backburner. AND if you submit a DR render through backburner it just crashes even if you have nothing else rendering or going on at all.

            i would say....if its not possible with dr the use strips.....same thing.

              strips works fine, only you should precalculate your GI
