  • Diffuse channel problem/bug?

    Hi Guys

I have a scene with a Vray proxy tree and a simple box behind it. When I try to render a diffuse channel from it, something weird happened. Some leaves (Not all) are missing when the box is behind this part of the tree.

Could anybody give me a clue to solve it ?

    I am using Vray 1.47.03

    Thanks in advance.

PS. I have two images as examples, but I don't know how to upload them here. Sorry. [img][/img]

When using proxies it's sometime difficult to see the entire tree. It may be that the box is to close to the tree and it's covering the part you can't see rendered.

How does it render without the box in the scene?

    Tony

You can upload your images to imageshack.us then use the "direct link" link and paste that between the [img][/img] codes in your post.

        DaForce, thanks for the tip.

TRGraphics, thanks for your reply. I am sure the box has no contact with the tree. Moreover, those leaves are perfectly shown in real RGB rendering, but missing in diffuse channel.

        Here are the images.
