I'm getting an error from one of my DR machines using Max. If I click on the spawner, it will will load up an 'untitled' max document to the task bar but will close back out. It never says 'vraydummy...' for a name. On the other comps it stays at the bottom and remains yellow.
It's the same setup as the rest of the comps - in fact, it's a brand new windows install with same versions of everything. I tried replacing the vraydummy60.max with a blank one, and this didn't work either. I tried replacing it with files from a different comp with same versions/directories and nothing.
Going through the network folder, I came across the log which reads:
Apparently, Max is having problems reading this file even tho it will open up just fine manually. I've tried resaving it within max as well. Any suggestions? I've spent hours trying to fix this...
