  • where is convert to vraymesh in max8?

Apologies if this is a bit basic - I'm going mad. I have also searched again and again on this forum but I am clearly using the wrong search terms, but where is the 'convert to vraymesh' button/option? On max 7, I used to just right click on an object and it'd be there.

    Kind Regards,

There is a << Vray Mesh export >> option on the right-click quad menu.

I can't see that. Is it something I need to customize?

Sometimes it craps out if you use a customized user-interface. Reload another one the try loading it again.

            Mmm. I only get this:

It is a fresh install of Max8.

OK - sussed it. I installed Max 8 and then put on Vray 1.48.03 without bothering to first install 1.47.03. Now that I have installed the older version, and then the newer one over the top, it works fine.

              Cheers guys.
