  • VRay Toon with matte shadow?

    hi,
i'am trying to render a mobile inside a hand with VRay Toon shader.
the handy have to be real, the hand toon style, renderd in two passes.
but the toonshader didn't accept the matte-shadow for the hand-mask.
i've tried it in vray properties, and mtlwrapper, both didn't work.
    any tips?

    best regards

I'm not sure what you are trying to do, maybe post an image?

ok sorry, maybe a littlebit confusing.
for now we've done it with max toonshader, but would like to know if its possible or not with the Vray.
there's a pass for the toon-hand with the handy as matte, and the handy as pass.

        final image:

with Vray Toon, handy has to be matte.

Ahh, I see. You can't do it with the current version of V-Ray. In newer builds, you can exclude objects from VRayToon, so it would work that way.
