  • Vray problem using rendernode?

Hi everyone, I hope I can find a solution to my problem in this forum, a technical problem that is happening but I don't know why.
I'm rendering a very simple scene using a rendernode connected by net to my pc, using Backburner and Vray 1.47.03
I found that pc working in different way and also the rendering is different!

On my pc the scene is lighted in a way, the correct way in the rendering
In the rendernode the scene is dark, and the scene file is the same!

It's like rendernode doesn't use color mapping parameters or GI generate values (properties of objects), but I don't know, and the problem is happening not in simple scene but in composition like bedroom, medium complex scenes and other, my work!

I attach an image as explanation of my problem

It was rendered in strip mode, so my pc rendered the correct strip, rendernode the wrong stripes.
But also I can render an entire image with my pc and the same with rendernode. 2 different images obviously, correct and not.

It's not a rendernode problem, like setting or other causes because other pc doesn't have any problem, with similar or different scenes, using the same render machine..

I'm not using saved irradiance maps or lightcache, it's all rendered one shot
I used 2 vraylights and a direct, and also the scene was rebuilt, but the problem it's the same..
I've tried the cornell box test from the forum and the pcs worked fine without problem (only a very little difference of refraction...)

Can you help me? I'm using a vray version that suffered of some strange limitation/bugs using Backburner o net???

Thanks and sorry for my english

Does your workstation differ from the render-nodes, considering the
decimal sign "." or "," ? Always keep them identical ! That is set in the Regional settings under Windows .

      In what can they differ?
Names of the machines? What I have to keep identical?

      Thanks

as he said.. its what your decimal system is setup for on the machines. not names or anything.

So it could look like 0.001 or 0,001 that will make a difference

Check Regional options in the control panel and make sure all your decimals places are . not ,

Do you mean, specifically, the "Decimal Symbol" setting under:

Regional Options, Customize..., Numbers tab, Decimal Symbol?

Or, do you mean other setttings besides that one as well?
