  • Need help with reflection problem

In the course of work we use low settings for test renderings
and high for final. I dont recall seeing this before but one of my co-workers ran into it. Now of course there is a difference but I dont quite
understand why. See below. When using the low settings the hilight/reflection
looks correct but when using much higher settings it does not.
We are using camera correction and have tried with and without
and turning max shade contect on and off.

    and

    thanks

Update: so far this looks like something going on with the just the reflection itself, working on it now.

well...I doubdt its the reflection. Since the reflection is always right. I see some normals issues on your surface, might want to check that out.

if you think its a fresnel issue, try placing fall off map into reflection slot with fresnel checked and see if that helps.

Wouldnt you do that with Fresnel "Unchecked" not "checked"?
