  • Complex material setups for proxies

    Hi,

I have 3d cars from dosch in my current project. Then problem is that the car is divided in different parts and each part has multisub material. Is there a way to collapse all these different multisubs in one big multisub material? Cause now I can assign only onle multisub in proxi and obviously proxi ain't rendering correctly. Or is there another approach when dealing these kinds of material setups and proxies?

    Hi!

You can pick all the car pieces and convert them to editable poly. Then pick one of them and use attach multiple with the rest of the parts. This way u will have one mesh for all the car. If you pick now the material from this mesh, u will realize that u have a monster multi sub object material which can be applied to the vrayproxy u will generate from the car single mesh.
