a new activation code for a new drive?

my hd died so I plug in a new one, reinstalling OS and SW right now; do I need a new activation code or can I try with the old one?
VR 14921 on VIZ 2005

Thanx Vlado for your fast answer but in the meantime I tried the old one (my deadline is near) and, at the moment, seems to work!
I'll let u know if it stops!

My thoughts on that was as long as the network card and the OS are the same it should be fine.
