shadow problem...on spiral stairs

I got spiral stairs and got this shadow problem. i was trying all settings and still got this sharp shadow. I think I have to build geometru of those staris different to get it right but I'm not sure how.

try using smaller vray lights to get sharper shadows..

yeah it does look like a mesh problem lukx
Perhaps try raise the secondary rays bias a little see if that helps. Can you show a wireframe of just the stairs.

DaForce it's just extruded spline.Anyway I lowered light size to have sharper shadows and it helped. Thanks guys.

maybe try ticking smooth surface shadows as well just incase.
