vrimg2exr conversion error

Trying to convert an image rendered as vrimg to EXR, but getting the following error:

Failed to write pixel data to image file "c:\convert\Set_Shot_Bedroom04a0000.vrimg". No frame buffer specified as pixel data source.

Using one of the newer versions of VRay, is this an issue for releases beyond 1.47? Under 1.47 had no problems vrimg but this is the first vrimg I have done with the newer build. Under 1.47 I normally render with preview and render to memory frame buffer turned off.

Any ideas?

Can someone else do a test with a Vrimng using the newer build, let me know if it works for them, maybe I am doing something wrong?

It's not working properly. Not sure if the problem is from 1.5 or the convertor. Hopefully someone may have the answer.

odd, I have converted heaps of vrimg to EXR with 1.5 rc2 and have had no problems.
Is it a silly thing like your running out of hard disk space?

It's the convertor.

I have got a new vrimg2exr.exe, and it worked.

An updated version of vrimg2exr is included in the installation of RC2 and you can find it in the Start menu > Chaos Group > V-Ray for 3dsmax > Tools.

Sorry but I am still getting this problem using 1.5, with the latest tool.

Sometimes it does work, sometimes I get this error

Failed to write pixel data to image file No frame buffer specified as pixel data source.

0 file(s) converted.

C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\3dsmax R9 for x86\tools>

Sometimes it just has an unspecified error. Any ideas as to what causes this?

I've had problems when writing to .vrimg in 'region' render mode. I've reported it as a bug
