    Hi,

    I am trying to render a z-depth on a scene where I have alots of opacity mapped trees and bushes. Pretty standard arch viz stuff. Problem is that texture planes render as planes in mask not preserving the transparency. Is it possible to render correct z-depth mask when dealing with opacity mapped stuff.

    hm. while thinkin a little i doubt it is....because how would you do semitransperency in a greyscale depth map. not sure tho

      I'm also having this problem, but found that even using the blur script for fog didn't work properly, as the matte material override the alpha.
