  • pink, purpel and green stripes on rendering

When I send the rendering to a renderfarm dividing it up into buckets it comes out with these strange colored stripes.

When I render it on one of my machiens it's fine, it just takes forever for the resolution I want.

I do get warning saying: invalid surface norma......., but it renders fine.

As it turns out, there is a texture map that is corrupt on the render farm side of things, i.e., the file is truncated.

Instead of treating this as an error, 3dsmax apparently treats this as "insert color bars where the rest of the file would be."

The solution is simply to re-upload the texture and re-submit the render.
