Vray Physical Camera Walk-through Instant Messenger

I'm not sur eif this is a Max problem or a Vray one, but when I use MSN Messenger Live with Max Camera Walkthrough mode set to physical camera and start typing in IM, the camera starts moving around. I always leave my cameras in walkthrough mode.

max has very long standing issues with shortcuts.
just add an edit poly modifier to an object, and your shortcuts will be edit poly ones, as long as that is selected: "C" will invoke the cut tool, and not the cam viewport anymore, and so on and so forth...
Or create an activeX window,with an excel spreadsheet on, and try and type a value in the cells: impossible, but for the keys not bound to max itself.
If msn live is a bit pervasive (i was FORCED to update, hence i hate it deeply), max WILL go bonkers for sure...
It's a sensation, not a fact, btw

This happens to me alot also. It just so happens that I also run MSN messenger in the background but never really pinned the problem on it. This happens to me when I am composing emails in outlook with MAX open on my second monitor. Perhaps a bug report over in the Autodesk forums would be prudent?

You know, now that I think of it, whenever I receive a MSN messenger mass meeting IM and MAX is running, ity always crashes messenger.

Heheheh. No problems so far with Max and Outlook. And hopefully no reason to ever have Excel open.

Didn't know if it was a physcial camera oversight or a max one. Guess I could give it a run although I don't think I'll ever use a Max camera again.

I think the problems you chaps are having will be solved by using teh keyboard override shortcut. I "believe" it locks the shortcuts so that only the standard ones work..i.e. C will always be camera.

I cant test this as i have modified my key setup (been using it for years) so that all my keys are the same no matter what mode/modifer/whatever is select.
