  • Split G-Buffer Channel Problem

Hi there, this is my first post here and first of all I would like to say that Chaosgroup, this forum and all users who participate rule!!!

As for the problem, I really dont know if it's already documented but here it goes:

I was trying to save the Z-Depth Channel into a file using Render Elements with VFB turned on and the Split render channels also turned on but the Z-Depth had the AA all wrong. I was using Adaptive subdivision with Min 2 Max 3 Filter Mitchell-Netravali. The Z-Depth displayed correctly on the VFB, the problem is just when saving the file thru that method.

I solved the problem by unchecking the VFB and using the MFB with the save option in the Render Elements Dialog. All turned out ok, AA was good.

P.S.- I was rendering an animation with Motion Blur.

Did you check the "Filtered" checkbox in the z-depth element options ?
