    this is a little somthing that Iv not been able to fix. whenever I use Interpolation for refract (see image on right) I get these dark areas.

    Its not a problem because I can render it without interpolation, but Id still like to know why this happens and how to fix it...I may have played with the settings so much that I might have caused it myself..Im hardly an expert when it comes to fine tuning vray

    the refract subdivs for both are 25.

    it looks great without interpoloations. Usually interpolations are not a good way to go for a number of reasons. Interpolations produce inacurate results, such as you see on the right image. "interpolate" which means that it assumes that for 1 given sample it will approximate nth number of similar samples, which will give you approximate result.
    But, also, it might help to increase internal refractions limit.
