mtlselect not working?

am i too stupid, or how do i select a material in render elements -mtlselect-
i cannot even drag&drop...

Drag n drop would be useful indeed, but in the meantime u just need to go down to material, click over none and in the window which appears you just need to check the visibiliy options, i dont remember, but i guess it was scene by object or something like that.

ok...but i don´t get an appearing window...hmmmm

You must select the mtl select render element and scroll down. First time i tried it was hidden until i realized some more info was hidden below. Once you see it, click on NONE on the material and the window to select the material will pop up (its the same window u see when working in the material editor)

sorry...nothing happens...no mat editor, no matbrowser, no hidden window...

BTW...working on max6 sp1
