Viewport slow with VraySun and Sky

Is anyone else noticing the Max interface getting really slow after you put a vray physical camera and sunlight and sky in the scene?

I have small interior scenes that take forever to do anything once i set up a scene with the lighting. It takes foreveer just to select the sunlight and move it, min max viewport etc....

maybe disable show background option? With a vray sky would you need to see it in your viewport? You would obviously never need to perspective match anything to it.

what version of max are you running?

Max 8. I dont have showbackground on in any of the viewports
