Displacement

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to fix this........driving me mad! Editable poly with 2D displacement modifier.

you will have to rather evenly subdivide your polys. there was a thread that explained it pretty well, i think by dynedain...am not sure tho.

Right...................read that post and unless I've got it wrong this should have worked - patch converted to poly. Any more thoughts?

i had also this kind of problems before....

Well it seems that there were only a couple of offending polygons after I changed to the patch. I deleted and replaced these and all seems to be fine.

Alway keep in mind while modelling, which geometry would be displaced, so that you make the topology correctly.
