  • Vray Phantom Environment Material from 'Save Selected'

I created a file which has the vray sun/sky system. I took a building out of the file by 'save selected', and the new Max file still shows the vray sky environment. I deleted the environment, but an environment material still shows in the material listing. It cannot be deleted. It is also not stored in the Environment overrides.

nah I checked this one out as well. The material is a phantom, it appears in the ME as if its assigned to an object or a slot somewhere. But it isnt. And you cant change the material in anyway, or delete it.

      Its really quite odd.

                  Well... fixed it.

It was where dynedain said, first time i check thru everything was via VNC to my home machine, and because i use the dark color scheme for max and the global override was unticked it was a black button with very dark grey text and VNC basically smoothed over it.. so i couldnt see it.

Thanks for making me check again dynedain
